Universities in North America has launched a new website to recruit, inform and support its growing intern program. Sostudents.sodexomyway.com is the division's new online hub where current and future student employees on campus can sign up, share their experiences and connect to people and resources they need to be successful.

The Universities Campus Intern program offers opportunities for students who would like to gain real work experience in marketing, operations, sustainability, culinary and other aspects of running large multi-faceted dining operations on small and large campuses. The site also showcases current work interns are doing to drive business on campus, including videos created by students to promote campus dining. 

The goal is that the site will engage current and prospective student employees and help them create opportunities for their future careers, hopefully with Sodexo. For the marketing group in Universities, it's critical to have students involved in how they serve, market and satisfy other students. "Interns are vital to our success today and also vital to our future," says Wendi Gretz, VP of Marketing for Universities. "Having a potential next generation of leaders begin their careers with us while they are still completing their education helps us ensure that we have a strong team that is up to the challenges of the future".
